• It is an anti-reflective matte screen, not glossy at all. The screen is not reflective at all, so I think it would work for outdoor use.

• I have the I7 version and the screen is truly outstanding. I have cataracts and this is the first laptop I've owned in years that I do not have to run at 100% brightness. The screen is matte and it is excellent outdoors. I put it side by side with a lenovo that supposedly has 400 nits and there is no comparison - the Asus screen is very readable in bright sunlight.
