The one brick was not in any kind of packaging, and has some scuff marks on it.. I'm starting to suspect I got a returned unit, missing a piece. Looking for commentary either way, please.”

That is the way this configuration comes the GTX 750 does not need a lot of power so it runs fine on just the 230 watt power supply. If you upgrade the video card to something much faster you will need to add a 120 watt power supply.
