It was a price increase across all sites. It seems that they had it as a placeholder connected to the original bundle the non 4k version. If you search around you can find that the 4k version is 3300 on multiple other websites this is to cover the nicer specs. Still lame though that they did it the way they did....

In other words, this was a discount from our regular $3299.99 price. Best Buy is currently selling our newer model featuring an RTX 3050ti GPU rather than the GTX 1650 found in this model for $1499.99. Please note that this model only features 16GB of memory instead of the 32GB found in this model and a WUXGA (1920x1200) display instead of 3840x2160. We will be refreshing this bundle in the coming months with the RTX 3050ti ($3299.99). You are also able to purchase the XG Mobile separately for $1499.99 on the ASUS website.
