A:Answer Here is the best answer to your question. An industry standard by all manufacturers is as follows: In general, the maximum safe CPU and GPU temps are somewhere between 65-80 degrees Celsius (149-176 degrees Fahrenheit) under full load. Safe CPU and GPU temps when idle should always be under 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees Fahrenheit). My computer while idle runs at 27 degrees Celsius which is awesome and guarantees long life on ALL my hardware. Remember, the hotter the temperature, the more likely it is that you will experience throttling and stability issues. The fix is: better cooling with proper fan placement or extra fans (or a liquid cooled system) using an adequate and PROVEN CPU cooler, and the proper application of thermal compound between the CPU coolerAND the CPU. Perhaps all 3 of these things need to be done to get the proper results. Lastly, If you can’t get the heat out of the computer case then all of this is not going to work. You must have a case with proper ventilation or should I say “air movement”. In My set up, the air comes in from the front and side of the computer case, and exits out the back and high point of the computer case. That is why my computer runs at only 27 degrees Celsius when idle and 59 degrees Celsius when under load! See attached photo for proof.
