“Is it okay to run this computer with 500watts or upgrade it?”

• It works perfect for the PC as it's currently configured. If you upgrade components, specifically the video card - it will require an upgraded power supply. I have purchased two of these for gaming PCs, they are solid. One I did swap two a 750w PS. Good news, it's super easy as this is a standard modular PS - cables don't have to be pulled out and changed. Hope this helps.
