Here is Samsung's info page http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/product/consumer/magician/ If you don't already have software to transfer the contents of one drive to another then I would suggest then I would you purchase such a program, as to make it simple on you because once done onto the NVME drive you can choose from the BIOS to boot up from that instead. You could buy EasUS software because it's cheap & simple to use and it's free version fully works for so many days. I was so impressed with it after registering the demo version that allowed me to clone the entire drive onto other one, as I got an email with a heavy discount on price to buy it later on so I did. It's not very complicated. I don't think you can use that samsung software to transfer OS from HDD to SSD
