This model was the first generation of nvidia chipset for mobile and it is 3 gigs. Later models had 4 to 6 gigs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this model is the 3gb 1060. There are two different 1060s, 3gb and 6gb. The gl502vm is 3gb, hence the low price. The card itself performs great though. I play all triple A games on ultra settings and always achieve 60+ fps. The only recommendation I have is get a laptop cooler. This thing runs hot. But other than, I'm happy that I bought a laptop that can run games on ultra high settings for less than $1200 dollars.

I just bought this same computer about a month ago and I just wanna say that I'm not sure of the specifics of the Strix' power, but I will say that I absolutely LOVE this machine. I play every game I can on "ultra" settings just to test out the true power of this machine and I haven't seen a game that the 1060 can't handle. I play PUBG in high settings and Overwatch in ultra both with no problem what so ever. I know this doesn't necessarily answer your question but I just thought I'd let you know anyways.
