“What is the safe way to upgrade SSD to larger? I have changed current one to 500GB but the rest of the process is disaster. Nothing is availabe to use. I have downloaded the drivers from the ASUS web site but even I set them up, drivers not working.”

you need to clone the drive, do not do a fresh install, this laptop has some custom items that cannot be downloaded.
