Yes, this laptop features an IPS screen.

This laptop does NOT have an IPS display. Check the manufacturers website. They claim that it is an "IPS-level" display, which means that the brightness and color gamut are nearly the equivalent of an IPS display, but the LCD panel in this laptop is a TN panel.
