As long as you're plugged in, you can do all of the above effectively though a modest amount of productivity work will be okay on battery. I've gotten around 3.4-4 hours when surfing and using Office.

Temps don't get to high on it about 79c after an half an hour of gaming, with better thermal paste around 76c. School work if like essays and stuff like that should be no problem at all. For the video editing I don't know. I feel like it should do great since it is a 6 core 12 thread cpu and the 1060 6GB will push but prolong editing I think you will hit a little bit of thermal throttling.
