Does this monitor function well as a TV? null

Yes 27” is quite large for a panel for medium to close viewing distance. Definitely not for a far view like laying in bed. The oled provides a great viewing experience.

You can use this as a tv, yes, but would need to plug speakers into the headphone jack for audio or use something else for the audio - like a bluetooth speaker.
