Connect the monitor to your pc via the included usb b to usb A cable then try downloading and installing the latest firmware by following the instructions. It worked without issues on my end.

Its way easier, Just plug in the usb to a laptop, then reformat it to Fat32, then go to Asus Website and download the latest Fw, after that extract it and you should look for a file that ends with .bin ,After that just drop it directly to the usb and your done with the laptop. Now Plug the usb to the monitor and hold the middle button for 5 seconds and it should prompt you with a screen to update the Fw.
