A:Answer I use it with a Ryzen 7 2700 and have used it with a Ryzen 3 3200G. The second PCIe NVMe M.2 slot on this motherboard is disabled with the 3200G as it is with all CPUs (APUs) with integrated (Vega) graphics. I use a Ryzen 1200 with a different AM4 B450 motherboard with a graphics card, an MSI.. it works fine. I recommend getting a faster CPU: the Ryzen 7 2700 I bought last week was $149.99 from Amazon. Keep the 1200: you may need it to upgrade the BIOS with some AM4 motherboards and it's good to keep a backup CPU around for troubleshooting purposes. I would upgrade the BIOS, then buy the latest non-G 3rd gen Ryzen within your budget (no integrated graphics). BTW, the Ryzen 3 3200G graphics were found wanting: lots of dropped frames on hi-res 1024p YouTube videos. Right now I have it loaded with two Samsung EVO 970 NVMe drives, 16 GB RAM and a Radeon 550 in a dual-boot mode with Linux Mint 19.3 and Windows 10. It is lightning fast and the thermals are quite good (40C). Windows 10 did mess with the BIOS to interfere with the Linux GRUB loader.. I had to reset that in the BIOS. Hope this helps!
