Laptop has SO-DIMM ram slots, right? null

The Asus answer is partly correct in that it does have two slots for two RAM cards. But there is no real reason not to put in two 32 GB RAMs in those slots for a total of 64 GB. You throw away existing RAM. If you’re nervous about doing it, buy the RAM from BB and pay Geek Squad to install it. They will no doubt test that it works.

Yes, the ASUS - ROG Strix G17 (G713PI) has 2xSO-DIMM slots for up to 32GB of DDR5-4800MHz memory.
