Yes, you are right it is 8/4 set up, I will be upgrading mine to 2x 16 2400's. Also a known problem is it runs high graphic games at 98•C which is too hot so you have to undervolt the cpu -.125v to -.150v to keep it sup 87•c
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.the 8 is actually soldered on it comes with a 4 that is in a plug in slot.. you want to run faster .. buy yourself another 8 and put it in the slot
