Yes it does. But you have to press the function button on the bottom left labelled 'FN' and the key at the top of the keyboard, hope that helps!

Please try again later.I had the previous model and found that when bought new or reinstalling windows you need to download the updated drivers from their support tab on the asus website for your SPECIFIC MODEL (look on the backside of the laptop to find it) Once installed they will by default illuminate at mid level, hope this helps with other similar issues of something not working right. Always make sure you have the latest DRIVERS installed. (Drivers are a type of program/software that is installed just like any other program but will tell your computer how to use the HARDWARE (physical parts the are built/plugged into the computer such as the mouse, keybord, screen, sound card/speakers)
