“When playing Battlefield 4 the cpu and gpu stay between 85-90 celcius. Is this hot enough to cause damage? If so would a cpu and gpu repaste be a good idea? Or would undervolting be better, if so by how much?”

No 90 Celsius is the norm while playing games with this laptop. But repasting does bring the temp way down, i repasted and used thermal tape on the smaller chips next to cpu and mine never gets above 60 Celsius now.
