Is this compatible with intel i7-7700? null

I double checked the compatibility list on the ASUS web site and the answer is no. https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z390-E-GAMING/HelpDesk_CPU/

It is a socket LGA 1151 processor. This board will accept a socket LGA 1151 processor. So, it is compatible with the Intel I7-7700 processor.
