A:Answer If you are using the hdmi port on the motherboard, you are not using your sli 1080 ti's as I'd imagine you already knew. Almost all current hdmi ports are capped at a 4k 60hz bandwidth, so no amount of power is going to help, even two 1080 ti's. The next version of hdmi will have more bandwidth, but keep in mind that both ports will have to be compliant with the new tech, otherwise the same bandwidth limit will still apply.
Your model of tv has a 120 hz refresh rate that will most likely only support that @ 1080p resolution. This post is a month old, but just in case, try switching to that resolution via your Nvidia control panel to at least enjoy the huge bump in framerate. If you sit any kind of distance away from the tv, the loss in resolution IMO is negligible vs the massive increase in smoothness 120 hz provides for gameplay.
Another thing to keep in mind about all tv's is the use of motion clarity tv settings. Some less honest brands advertise their tv's refresh-rate as the simulated rate produced by backlight strobing. This often means, if they advertise 120 hz, the actual panel might only refresh at 30/60 hz.
