You don't need graphics card but you do need processor. I was able to use motherboard with 10700k cpu over both hdmi and display port on a back of motherboard.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The answer depends on the processor you choose. If the processor has integrated graphics then the answer is no you do not need a graphics card. If the processor does NOT have integrated graphics then the answer is yes you need a graphics card. Why would you buy a high end motherboard and not plan on using a dedicated graphics card? If is is due to the initial cost layout and plan on added the dedicated graphics card then all is good.
