• Yes be sure to check the qvl list for RAM part numbers just to be safe and cross reference the ram you want. But i run 7000mhz xmp yes it works great! With correct ram make sure its also INTEL NOT AMD RAM

• Yes, You will have to update the BIOS. It can actually clock higher but you might have to mess around a little with the timings etc to make sure it’s stable.
