This is a HI Def monitor but not 4K monitor. It's aspect ratio 21:9. Ii has both HDMI a Display Port inpots. The Display Port input gives you a higher refresh rate to 100 HZ. I believe the max resolution is 50 or 60 hz at max resolution of 3440 by 1440 (Native) with HDMI. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Trent I play games, day trade and all that Netflix Hulu streaming. I own 2 other 27 inch monitors one LG and an Asus. Truthfully this works the best as a main monitor with my 27's on my the sides. This monitor is so big you can easily do all of that on just this. It's legit that good, and no I don't work for Best Buy lol

This means that the top and bottom of a 16:9 aspect ratio image are cut off. This limits the vertical view of the player. This isn't true "hor+" 21:9 widescreen output and should be avoided if you want to have an enjoyable experience. Hor+ ultrawide screen support on the otherhand is properly supported by games like the new Doom and Battlefield 1. If a game isn't properly support you can still play at 16:9 on this monitor but with black bars on the sides of the image. I will say when a game supports 21:9, the monitor is absolutely beautiful to play on.
