QuestionI upgraded all my older laptops to Windows 10 (forcibly) they’re all basically bricked-except a 10+ year old Asus & it can only run the 1st version. If free upgrade to Windows 11 from 10, will this laptop be able to handle? Any performance issues?

QuestionIf this model of the G14 doesn't have AniMe Matrix, why does it still have the tiny LED holes on the back? They certainly look nice, but I have a bad feeling that they may just become dust traps.

QuestionRecently purchased but have not picked up. Wondering the amount of RAM soddered to MB. ASUS advertises 16GB soddered on all GA401QM models. But everywhere I have looked this specific model number states 8gb soddered RAM. Please tell me if its 8 or 16.

- Answer Yes. This laptop has a built-in microphone. I checked it and it works. But I don't use it. I have headphones from an iPhone with a microphone and I use them by connecting via Bluetooth.

QuestionWhy do the with fans spool up every few minutes when at idle? Tried setting a manual fan curve, for a constant ~10% and it blows right through it. There's no increased load on the system, just the fans spooling up and down.

- Answer Hello Korseau! In the Armoury Crate you can select a silent profile. This will prevent fans kicking on high. They will still turn on if there is demand on the system but won't be as loud as other profiles.
