A:AnswerI’d recommend thermal tape compared to a heatsink. The case is really thin so you don’t want to purchase a heat sink and now the NVME doesn’t fit.
A:AnswerYes. Make sure you get a USB 3.1 with a quality output. I found one that supports 144hz and freesync turns on. I never use freesync. Always been more issues with it on with any GPU ive used.
A:AnswerThe laptop does get fairly hot under heavy loads like gaming especially above the center of the keyboard. The fans while quite loud at max speed do a decent job of dissipating the heat once the load is removed. Using it for work, school, streaming media ,or very light gaming the temps stay fairly low all day slightly warm but not hot. I would say that any gaming laptop in a form factor this small is going to get hot if used extensively, I would suggest a cooling mat if you decide want to gaming for extended times on a laptop in this size.
