“I want to upgrade ram. Can i upgrade with 8gb 2666mhz in empty slot? Even the system only can read until 2400mhz, Is there suppose to be a problem or malfunction? Also if i upgrade with 16gb with total 24gb. Is there any difference in performance?”

No don't use 2666mhz and there is only one slot u can use and and other is intergraded. This laptop is a 16gb of ram system anyways. And if u want to put a 16gb Stick to have 24gbs of ram stay with 2400 MHz and u will not really see a performance difference unless the programs that u r using need 16gbs of ram or more or u running multiple programs maxing out on available ram then yes u will see a performance difference.
