It does get hot - the chassis is made of metal, and there isn't a lot of space for heat to dissipate - its not suited for being used on your lap. Make sure you have plenty of air flow when using the machine for intensive tasks.

For me personally i find if the CPU getting to hot just put it in turbo fan and that usually cools it down in one minute. the other thing is the vents in the back under the screen dont really work well if you have the screen opened only 90 degrees or less.
