It comes with 8gb soldered onto the motherboard, while the other 8gb is upgradable. However, with a dual channel ram, I wouldn't bother upgrading the ram unless you absolutely need that extra memory. Let's say you were to upgrade the 8gb slot with a 16gb or a 24gb stick, the soldered 8gb in dual channel means that the extra ram in the upgraded slot will behave like a single channel ram after the initial 8gb is consumed. The AniMe Matrix model is supposed to launch in June I believe. As I said in a different comment, I don't see any point to the display other than it adding more weight to the laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Upgrading one slot is easy, the other slot is on the other side of the motherboard would means you have to remove it completely from the chassis. The dot matrix is only available on the 2 higher end models. There is no option for the 120hz models.
