This model comes with 1 slot with 8GB DDR4-3200 installed and 8GB DDR4 on board.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to prerelease reviews it's 2x8 but only one SODIMM is available if you open it up. Either the other slot is soldered on or requires a teardown to get to. Not sure how the release model will be.

What I’m unsure about is if you buy a 16 or 32gb ram for the one memory slot, will the memory be dual channel for the first 16gb or will all RAM operate in single channel (slower) mode? In the old days, we called this “interleaving”.
