- Answer It comes with standard warranty coverage, you need to register on Asus.com for it to activate. From there u can then purchase extensions once your year is over.

Questionbought this laptop recently .. the fan noise is loud even on "silent mode". this is while just browsing. it has a coil whine. is this something common?? it quite annoying :( also the track pad sometimes fails to recognize taps.

- Answer Yes, it's normal. I think at first I heard the coil whinning. And the fan noises where loud (kinda). The trackpad may acquire more force to be pressed upon, but if it doesn't recongnize taps you should return it. Also if the finger print is too sticky, return it.
