The RAM on this laptop cannot be replaced or upgraded. Only the SSD can be replaced/upgraded. This Laptop allows for 2 SSD cards. One comes with the laptop. And the other slot is empty. You can add a second one and/or replace the first one. Max capacity of each SSD is 4GB
