Honestly, the only “minus” with open-box items is that someone returned it before you — but that doesn’t mean anything is wrong with it. I actually got my laptop as an open-box deal and saved about 50%, which ended up being a couple hundred dollars off for a perfectly good, fully working device. It looked brand new, came with all the accessories, and works flawlessly. As long as you check the condition rating (like Excellent or Satisfactory) and make sure the return window is still active, open-box is one of the best ways to save money on high-end tech.
