    • Answer Yes, as mentioned there are two slots but be aware space is very limited so if you buy an additional drive, it must be single-sided (chips on only the top side of the drive). Double-sided drives will NOT work. I tried. Asus also says you can't add more than 2 TB but I did add a 4 TB single-sided Samsung 990 Pro and it is working great. I tried a 4 TB double-sided WD Black drive and it did not work. Anything single-sided of any capacity should work.

    • Answer Depending on the power mode, screen brightness, keyboard brightness, and slash lighting, anywhere from 50 minutes (playing Portal RTX) to 4 hours and 30 minutes (web surfing with screen all the way down and no other lighting on).

  • QuestionCan I charge this laptop with USB C

    • Answer It both has its own 330W custom charger, plus you can optionally buy an additional 100W-ish that you can plug into the USB-C port to give it a charge boost, for instance if you’re out and about and don’t want to lug along the big charger. Don’t plan on gaming while plugged into the USB-C charger though - at least not for more than an hour - i.e., gaming on your discreet GPU could perhaps drain your battery over time in spite of being plugged in to the USB small charger.

  • QuestionWhat is Nit Brightness on Screen?

    • Answer Actually, it's closer to 400 nits, slightly less but with HDR it closes in on 450 nits. None of the reviews/tests ever showed it reaching 500. But because OLED has such a ridiculous contrast, it can seem brighter than 400-450 nits. Don't worry that it isn't bright enough - it is! :)

    • Answer It depends on the market. I know mine in Canada will - a single zone RGB only but yes it is RGB here. I know some of the SKUs are white backlit only.

  • QuestionIs the graphics card rtx4070 power 140w?

    • Answer No, it is 105W with some room for boost power but if you read up on 4060/4070 cards, you will find that any power applied beyond 100W is wasted anyway - the performance does not improve over 100W the way it does on 4080/4090 cards. All it would do is create more heat, so 105W is pretty much optimal for a 4060/4070. I actually tested it beside an MSI with 140W supplied to its 4070 card and the benchmark scores were the same.
