- Answer GM501 is what I ordered and received. The touch pad is in front like normal laptop.

QuestionCan the cooling vent be opened when the laptop is closed? For docking purposes.

- Answer No, the vent is attached to hinge, opening the display is what opens the vent. I would not attempt to play games with this and external display without the laptop opened up. There are no holes in the piece that opens from the bottom and the display would block the top holes, so all intake air would be blocked. So in short, always operate it with lid open.

QuestionIf used on your lap, how well does the Hinge/Ventilation system work? Does it feel flimsy or unstable while sitting on ones legs? I would be using the laptop while sitting in a recliner. Thanks
