Q: QuestionOn my third day of having this laptop, there was a yellow triangle symbol with a ! on it by the battery icon. Also, my laptop gets to 53% in an 1/2 to 2 hours. Also, it dropped 30% while asleep. I don't know if this is normal? If not, how to fix?

• A:Answer The yellow symbol on the battery icon is a windows function that says the laptop is running low on battery. if it dropped 30% while u were asleep, try to quit some applications to stop background processes. this will free up ram, and make it faster.

• A:Answer Yes. One of the ram cards is removable, the other is soldered permanently, each 8 GB. When buying another ram card, just make sure it is DDR4 and runs at 3200 mhz(3.2 ghz).

• A:Answer I was having the same issue with mine and my recovery stopped working i ended up buying recovery media and restoring. After restoring you do have to make some changes like undervolting the laptop through bios. Then in nvidia control settings and change it to maximum performance for power management and also for texture filtering. Each game is different like for Fortnite I use in game video settings and leave the nvidia control panel alone. message me on reddit if you need more help or make a post on r/gaminglaptops . Q: QuestionIs it normal for this laptop to get supper hot while on sleep/hibernate mode? I would step away from this laptop for a few hours and when I come back to it regardless of being plugged in or not, it just gets supper hot. Did I get a defective unit?

• A:Answer I went back and exchanged the laptop for the same one. Something was wrong with my first one. It would run higher temps under light use and will basically cook in sleep mode or hibernate mode. The new one runs way cooler compared to the old one and I can leave it on sleep mode without any worry.

Q: QuestionI would like to connect a keyboard to the laptop, I see there is a USB port on the side. The keyboard is a ducky one 2 mini which has a usb type c cable. Is it possible to connect them. And which adapter would work for these. Bc I know there is adapters.

Q: QuestionIf I was playing a less demanding game like world of warcraft- how long would you expect this battery to last? I am assuming about 3 hours. I plan on playing on high settings for the most part. I dont play many FPS games

• A:Answer I agree with the previous answer. I'm really disappointed with the battery life. I don't play games, but I bought this to use for video and image editing. Was hoping to be able to occasionally sit with the family for a couple hours as opposed to sitting a desk to do some simple edits now and again. However, I'm finding that while doing a very basic edit and color grade of a small clip in Premiere Pro CC 2020 I am down to 50% in just 45 minutes. I was hoping for at least double that. Just bought it yesterday, so I'll probably be returning and getting the MSI GS66 which is reported to have extremely long battery life. Perhaps my expectations are too high. We'll see.
