• I got conflicting answers on open-box warranty: Both BestBuy customer service and the official ASUS account (seems to be) on this Q&A forum say that the ASUS open-box laptops from BestBuy have the same 1-year ASUS manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. However, the U.S. ASUS customer service told me that the open-box products only have a 90-day warranty from ASUS. Below is the exact wording I got in e-mail from ASUS U.S. customer service: "Once the unit purchase is an open box, only 90 days warranty is provided for that device. In terms of Best Buy saying that you have the same 1-year manufacturer warranty from the purchase date as the new laptops have, you will need to verify that information with them."
