The official ASUS account (at least it seems to be) on this Q&A forum said that this ASUS M15 laptop only has a 12-month U.S. local warranty and does not have international warranty. However, on the U.S. ASUS ROG site, the specific warranty info. page for M15 GU502 *DOES* have international warranty listed: https://rog.asus.com/us/laptops/rog-zephyrus/rog-zephyrus-m15-series/helpdesk_warranty/ There are four warranty doucument links on the warranty page. Although in the " US-Retailer Warranty Information Update : November, 2020", it says "ASUS DOES NOT perform warranty service outside of the country where you bought the Notebook. This Warranty applies in the country of purchase." But then it follows by saying "To enjoy comprehensive international warranty service, visit ASUS Service Center website at https://www.asus.com/support or https://rog.asus.com/support for detailed locations." And in the fourth warranty document "International Warranty coverage country Information Update : November, 2020", it has a long list of international warranty coverage countries. Israel IS on that list. In my case, I want to find out if I buy an M15 GU502 from BestBuy and later travel to Taiwan, it will have the same warranty coverage in Taiwan. Taiwan is also on that list. When I contacted ASUS U.S. customer service, they said that they need a serial number to get THE CORRECT warranty info. But I need a CORRECT answer to make a purchase decision. How am I getting a serial number before having actually bought the product? It's all very confusing.
