“Hello, I know this model does not have the mini-LED. However, I have seen two answers from Asus on these questions. One says it has LED (regular LED) and another says it has LCD. The Best Buy specifications list it as LED. Which is correct?”

Basically nowadays every laptop you can see is made of LCD. Some of the popular ones include IPS, TN, VA are all called LCD displays. LED is only one layer of LCD that emits light. So in this case both are not wrong either it is LCD panel, or has an LED screen. This model particularly uses IPS LCD as if you would like to know.
