It seems that fans, speakers, and much of the electronics are there. The trackpad is to the right of the keyboard. I found having the keyboard and the trackpad configured this way make it much easier for me to use than other laptops have been. A left handed person will have to use his or her right hand on the built in trackpad, however, or use an external mouse or pad.
