QuestionCan i configure this without internet? Internet is not available in our are yet . I want it to connect to my mobile hotspot and use it to control a security camera, Irobot vaccume and a wireless printer

- Answer If your mobile hotspot allows you to plug in an RJ45 Ethernet cable to connect to the Asus router it should work fine. Some hotspots have an RJ45 port and some don't.

- Answer The antennae are not detachable but swivel and "fold" for a good amount of flexibility.

QuestionI have 3 questions and they are likely to sound silly. 1( is the blue plug in the back for my dsl cable? 2(will this work with frontier internet? 3( my current internet is about 13mbps. How much of a boost will I get when switching to this router? Thanks

- Answer Yes, the blue port is for connecting the DSL modem to the router. Yes, it works with Frontier Internet. The router will support the speed your ISP provides.

- Answer You can connect your doorbell, however, keep in mind that your doorbell requires an internet connection.

QuestionI just purchased the ROG AX-11000 and it still isn’t powerful enough to reach throughout my 2800 sq ft home. Is the AC1200 able to be used as AIMESH for the back rooms? I’m looking for the least expensive option to extend the range.

- Answer Walls and RF noise may affect the signal, range or distance of a router coverage. Certainly, the RT-AC1200 will extend the WIFI range or coverage of your local area network.
