QuestionIt see it has "2x USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports", 0. do they both support tethering? 1. if 0, can i tether both simultaneously to different providers/devices for failover? 2. if 1, does it support wan bonding between the 2 tethers? Thanks

- Answer Yes, the USB ports support tethering, however, they cannot be used simultaneously. It supports WAN Link Aggregation.

- Answer So, needing an external device is up to your service provider, there are many that run direct fiber to the home or business that will attach directly to the sfp+ port on this router without any extra equipment needed.

QuestionIs this router capable of wifi 6-e on the 2.4 GHz spectrum where the sub-spectrums are available.? I have a ton of 2.4 GHz smart devices that overload the normal spectrum.

- Answer Just wifi 6, though you can add more ASUS routers to decrease congestion on a single 2.4ghz channel, or even wire some devices in for Ethernet backhaul to reduce your overall clients. This router supports 50 clients at once though. Hasn’t been an issue for my IoT smart home devices.
