I had an asus CS online that checked and told me it was the same router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As near as I can tell they are identical the ASUS product page under tech specs says: Product Segment BE7200 ultimate BE performance : 1376+5764 Mbps. Basically BE is their WiFi 7 line, and they are using the numbers after to denote total WiFi speed. The ASUS RT-BE92U is also "BE9700 ultimate BE performance : 1032+2882+5764 Mbps", etc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, RT-BE88U and the RT-BE9700 are different models even though they are both high-end WIFI routers. The RT-BE9700 is considered a more advanced version with better performance and features compared to the RT-BE88U, particularly in terms of overall speeds and support for newer Wi-Fi standards. The RT-BE9700 is not exclusive for BestBuy, it is being sold by other ASUS retailers or resellers.
