I think you’ll find a lot of your questions can be answered on the 8311 discord or be researching 8311 Gpon sfp stick. It’s involved to program the firmware onto the sfp stick and “spoof or mimic” the att firmware to be able to remove the “gateway” modem from your network but it is possible. https://youtu.be/8icE4Yd3WE8?si=imYxxSpre_IUpXSa
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure on SFP+ vs SFP, but either port can be used as WAN or LAN. I have CAT6 coming from the wall, so I plugged that into the RJ45 10Gb WAN port and bought an SPF+ transceiver to plug my LAN RJ45 into.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The SFP+ port is for 10g intranet copper/fiber connections to, say, a switch with an SFP+ jack, or a Network Attached Storage device with a similar type of jack. If your modem's line has an RJ45 male jack, plug it into the 10g WAN port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I could contact att to see if its an approved unit but since this is just a router not modem/router (gateway) it probably wont work..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.AT&T requires their fiber to run through their equipment. You would need to connect the BE7200 to the AT&T router.
