“Every time I start this computer and log in, Microsoft 365 and XBox pop up. I never plan on using XBox or the Microsoft 365 products, how can I safely remove these from computer hard drive so I don't get the pop ups.”

Go to Settings-->Apps and find the programs. You can also type in app in the search bar and it should display "Add or remove programs". If you click on that it will take you to the page to manage your applications. You should find Microsoft 365 and a few Xbox apps listed. Click on uninstall to remove them from the system.
