• Yes, there is a secondary RAM slot available to upgrade it to 16GB. As long as the RAM is a non-ECC and unbuffered DDR4-3200 SODIMM, regardless of the brand, it will be compatible with the laptop.

• Carefully open the case, lift the covering and write down the brand and all numbers on the one ASUS installed then buy an 8GB matching memory stick. Opening the case instructions can be found on the ASUS site and YouTube. It's easy once you see how it is done.
