This laptop has an additional 2.5" SATA slot that is empty upon delivery. Since the AMD version uses m.2 and the intel version uses SATA, the computer has both available internally. I am currently running a 1TB NVMe in the m.2 slot and a 1TB hdd in the SATA slot. Hope this helps.
