A BIOS update may be required depending on the manufacturing date. We can flash the BIOS for you under warranty, and AMD also has a loaner CPU kit available. https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-100
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The newer ones should! The BIOS for the MoBo needs to be on a specific version, which you can find on the ASUS website, to work out of the box with the new Ryzen 5s. I bought mine about a month ago and it worked with a new 5 with no issue. I'm the off chance you get an older MoBo that ISN'T updates to the newest BIOS, then you'd need to do some BIOS updating, but the chance of that at this point is slim.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will but you would not get optimum performance and will randomly restart. Updating the bios is pretty straight forward and takes about 5 minutes. Make sure you download the X570 wifi bios and rename it with the included biosrename.exe file.
