Yes. You just have to change the settings of what to do when the lid is closed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Laptop can be closed when connected to an external monitor, keyboard and mouse and can continue to be usable. Any monitor with HDMI will absolutely work, just do not expect a great experience if playing games on a 4K display. As far as changing the Windows 11 UI experience to be similar to Windows XP, there are third party softwares you can install to do this but it is not recommended because the potential issues can arise from the softwares. The best solution is changing the Taskbar to be closer to Windows 10.
