after I bought mine I had to just wait a few days maybe a week before the download was available. you will get a notification. and installing google chrome is more complicated because you have to go through about 5 to 6 steps including downloading a couple of files from the internet. Ialso you will not have windows installed anymore. You can go back to windows but you will have to go through another set of steps. it will be best just to buy a chromebook if thats what you want.
