“The product description says 2 USB 2.0, 1 USB 3.0, and 1 USB-C, for the USB port types. However in pictures for the Asus Vivobook here shows 2 USB typeA on the left side, & two USB TypeA on the right with a locking port. Are the pictures or text correct?”

The pictures are not correct, at least compared to the unit I received. I have what you listed (2 USB2, 1 USB3, 1 USB-C), AND an HDMI port that's not shown or listed in the specs.
