QuestionI'm looking for a new work computer. I work from home and I need something fast that can handle lots of web based stuff. Also need to be able to run office well. Would this be a good choice for a main work computer?

- Answer This laptop would be a very good choice for that. I have a very similarly spec-ed ASUS and it flies through Office work and web stuff. If you pull the trigger on this one, make sure to change the file location of your downloads, documents, and pictures (in windows explorer, right click Downloads,etc, select properties, go to Location tab) to point to your HDD (D:) drive so you don't fill up the SD with large storage files.

- Answer The laptop is good for video-editing. The RAM may need to be upgraded in order to run 2 video-editing program at the same time.

- Answer That’s what I bought this laptop for. It handles fl studio and pro tools perfectly. I haven’t tried abelton or other production DAWS but pro tools is a lot more “needy” than others and it handles it seamlessly.

QuestionI have a question. How well does this laptop deal with gaming specs wise? Like for example: Can it play something with the minimum requirements needed without bumping it up unless necessary to shift or change preferences to one's accord?

- Answer As far min requirements I’m not too sure but, it does run GTA V at 30 FPS. If I’m not mistaken that same game runs 30 FPS on console. Hope this helps

QuestionDoes it support 5G Wi-Fi? Because Spectrum you get a 2G line and a 5G line and because a lot of my devices are older and obviously just support 2G I was hoping that I could get a laptop that supports 5G so then the 2G section doesn't get all clogged up.

QuestionAbout how long does battery last?

- Answer When I use it for basic research on Google or writing an essay, it can last from around 7 am to 4 pm. When I am using it with Photoshop and I have multiple things running at once it can last from 7 am to around 1 pm. It is on for most of the time except for about 30 minutes (transitions to classes and home to work)

- Answer No, it is not a touch screen. However, I have had this laptop for about a month. In fact, it is my second one , since I had to return the first one. The WiFi adapter kept dropping its connection to the internet. The replacement laptop is doing the same exact thing. I have been calling Asus to resolve the issue. which still persists. Check the reviews online for this issue before purchasing, (which i neglected to do). Other than that, I really like the laptop.
